Hey you. A good morning to you, too. I still haven’t picked up on your name, but hope everything’s fine.

Oh… hey. I don’t think I ever said my name… I’m Elena. Yeah, everything’s fine. How are you?

[text] Hello, hun. I love ya too. What’s up?
She hadn’t been to the grave since the first day, she was a much more frequent visitor to her parents a little ways away as of late but not this one. Elena looked at the words decorating the cold stone marker from her spot on the grass directly across as if she were a statue, the only clues that she was actually alive was the tightening of her mouth and the frenzied blinking to chase away the moisture that gathered in her eyes. How long exactly had it been? She wasn’t sure. She had used to count every day, kept checks on a page in her diary afraid that losing count would meld into forgetting about Jenna but that had caused too many nights where she sobbed guilty tears into her pillow and she was forced to let go.
As much as she had hated thinking that way she had assumed that it was the end of it. Elena had seen her die, be buried and now she was learning that that wasn’t true in the slightest. That Jenna was alive and walking around, or at least someone looking like her without any of the memories. If it was really Jenna, that would have hurt Elena the most. Her not remembering all the things that they had done together. The movie nights, the gummybears. Not the bad things, but the good things, the ones that evoked fondness and laughter and smiles. When her hand started reaching out she knew that it was time to leave and she quickly hopped up and rushed from the cemetery and back into town.
You should always watch where you’re going and Elena forgot that core rule, her eyes focusing more on the sidewalk as she moved over it causing her to walk right into someone and stumble back a few paces. “Oh, I’m sorry I wasn’t—-“ her voice trailed off as she lifted her head to see just who it was she had bumped into. “Jenna…” she breathed out the name. While she had heard from both Alaric and Stefan she had refused to believe until she saw her with her own eyes. Like right now.
((My computer sucks ass because it doesnt record voice so have my creepy face.
I had a better one but I ended up forgetting I was on camera and starting singing/dancing to the music you cant hear.
